Other Than “Shawn of the Dead”

Has any movie portrayed a zombie apocalypse in which the inhabitants of said world know anything about zombies? And don’t say “Zombieland” because honestly who the fuck turns on all the amusement park bells and whistles if they DON’T want to die?

I only ask because Hollywood is missing a huge genre here. People going crazy and murdering ANYONE because they might be infected, dumb ass college kids that think Left 4 Dead equipped them with zombie survival and getting killed. Hollywood Y U NO MAKE POP CULTURALLY RELEVANT ZOMBIE FLICK?
